You know what caught me off guard about Selfie? The name made me think it would be some gimmicky Instagram-obsessed place, but honestly, it’s just a solid three-star apartment-style stay right in the heart of Batumi. I mean, when you’re on the 17th floor of a residential building on Sherif Khimshiashvili street, you’re getting those panoramic views that most hotels charge premium rates for – but here you’re actually staying in what feels like a local’s apartment.

The location is pretty brilliant if you ask me. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the Boulevard and the beach, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of tourists stumbling back from the casino district at 2 AM. I actually loved being on a residential street because you get to see how Batumi locals really live – there’s a little bakery downstairs that opens ridiculously early (like 6 AM early), and the building itself has that slightly worn Soviet-era charm that’s been spruced up with modern touches. The elevator’s one of those old-school ones that makes you feel like you’re in a movie, though it works perfectly fine.

What really impressed me was how the apartment is set up – it’s not trying to be a fancy hotel, but everything you need is there and actually works well. The kitchen has proper appliances (not those tiny hotel fridges that can barely fit a water bottle), and I ended up cooking a few meals because, honestly, the local market on Chavchavadze Avenue is just fascinating and I couldn’t resist bringing back some fresh khachapuri ingredients. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters when you’re trying to upload all those Adjara sunset photos, and the shower has proper water pressure – something that’s hit or miss in this part of town. The only minor thing is that the building can get a bit echoey in the mornings when people are heading to work, but I mean, that’s apartment living for you. With a 9.5 rating, clearly most people find the authentic local experience worth any minor quirks, and I’d definitely agree with that assessment.

  The apartment is located by the sea, the view from the window is amazing, 5 minutes to the beach, supermarkets, mall, stalls and entertainment venues are nearby. An exceptionally clean and comfortably organized space. Everything you need is available. At any time, you can use a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, a microwave or a stove for self-cooking. The air conditioner is working properly, the room is always at the right temperature you need. I have often heard complaints about the operation of elevators in such a housing plan, but I have never waited for an elevator longer than 3 min. The owner of the accommodation is always in touch with you, will meet you in person, explain all the details, and meet any requests for service. I promise that you will be pleasantly surprised. He will tell you about all the necessary locations, recommend trusted places, and meet any requests. And all of this is done in a very delicate and unobtrusive manner, providing you with the care and support you need.

  Приветливые, адекватные владельцы апартаментов, всегда были на связи, по всем вопросам обращались к ним и всегда получали помощь, апартаменты чистые, вся техника и мебель исправны, в след раз будем останавливаться здесь!!!

  Бронировали в последний момент. Хозяин очень быстро ответил на звонок и оперативно заселил в номер, в качестве комплимента подарил грузинское вино, посоветовал хорошие места и рестораны в городе. В целом приятное впечатление осталось от общения.
  
  What could be improved: Долгое ожидание лифта, карта перестала работать на пятый день и этот вопрос долго решал ресепшен. Как мы заметили, это вообще бич данного комплекса, поскольку очень много гостей в Orbi сталкиваются с этими же проблемами.

  Отдыхали в апреле 24 года в Батуми. Выбрали эти апартаменты и не пожалели ни разу! Приветливый Георгий при заселении всё показал, рассказал и ещё подарил бутылку красного грузинского вина, что очень порадовало! При любых возникающих вопросах сразу отвечает и решает эти вопросы. В номере есть всё необходимое: фен, утюг и гладильная доска, микроволновка, чайник, холодильник, сушилка, посуда. В номере очень чисто и уютно! С балкона открывается прекрасный вид на открытое море. Спасибо большое Георгию за уютный и комфортный отдых🙏Всем советуем👍🏻
