Walking up to Sea Zone on Antsukhelidze Street, you immediately notice how the building stands out from the typical Batumi hotel scene. This four-star property has this clean, modern vibe that feels refreshingly understated — no flashy neon or over-the-top decorations, just solid contemporary design. The entrance area is spacious and well-lit, and honestly, the staff greeting feels genuine rather than rehearsed. You can tell right away that this place takes itself seriously without being stuffy about it.

Location & Getting Around

The location on Antsukhelidze is actually pretty smart if you know Batumi at all. You’re close enough to the action but not stuck in the middle of the tourist chaos that can get overwhelming, especially during summer months. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main boulevard and beach area — far enough that you won’t hear street noise all night, but close enough that you’re not constantly calling taxis. What I really appreciated was the parking situation — they’ve got free private spots right on site, which is honestly a huge relief in this city where finding a decent parking spot can turn into a whole adventure.

The Room Experience

My room was on the fourth floor, and I have to say, the space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong), and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time. The bathroom was modern and clean — good water pressure, which matters more than you might think. The air conditioning works properly too, and during Batumi’s humid summers, that’s not something to take for granted.

Dining & Amenities

The hotel restaurant serves both Georgian and international dishes, and while it’s not going to win any culinary awards, the food is solid and reasonably priced. I mean, you’re probably going to want to explore Batumi’s amazing food scene anyway, but it’s nice knowing you can grab a decent meal without leaving the building if you’re tired or the weather’s not cooperating. The breakfast spread covers the basics well — fresh bread, local cheese, eggs prepared how you want them, plus some Georgian specialties that give you a real taste of the region.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets Sea Zone apart is how it strikes this balance between being professional and relaxed. The 8.0 rating makes sense when you experience the place — it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just doing the fundamentals really well. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the quieter location and the fact that you can actually have a conversation in your room without competing with street noise. The free parking is a game-changer if you’re road-tripping through Georgia, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you have what you need. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, start your day properly, and feel like you made a smart choice.

  Очень милый отель, прекрасная хозяйка. Место несколько уединенное, что хорошо для отдыха. В номере хорошая отдельная кухня, есть большой холодильник, стиральная машина, телевизор, кондиционер, диван, стол и 3 стула. Можно при желании готовить или ходить в кафе по направлению к морю. Наверху – шикарное пространство для проведения вечеров. До пляжа минут 12. Рядом аэропорт. Шум в номере не заметен. А на пляже – это развлечение, за которым специально приезжают отдыхающие! В целом, sea zone – это место, где можно прекрасно отдохнуть!
