Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Orbi City apartment 40 этаж, I was skeptical. I mean, staying on the 40th floor of what’s essentially a residential tower? But honestly, this turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you rethink what a hotel experience should be.

The location on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is actually brilliant if you know Batumi at all. You’re close enough to the boulevard and beach that you can walk there in about ten minutes, but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you’re not dealing with constant noise and crowds. The building itself is this massive modern complex – you know, one of those gleaming towers that’s become synonymous with Batumi’s skyline transformation over the past decade. Getting up to the 40th floor takes a minute (the elevators are decent, thankfully), but once you’re there, the views are absolutely ridiculous. I’m talking panoramic shots of the Black Sea, the mountains behind the city, and pretty much all of Batumi spread out below you like some sort of urban carpet.

What surprised me most was how this three-star place managed to feel so much more upscale than its rating suggests. The apartment itself is spacious – none of that cramped hotel room nonsense where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. There’s a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from Carrefour (which is pretty close by, actually), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that you don’t usually find outside of fancy resorts. The bed was comfortable enough that I actually overslept twice, which honestly never happens when I’m traveling. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly fine for video calls, which was crucial since I had some work stuff to handle while I was there. One small thing – the air conditioning can be a bit temperamental, but the cross-breeze from opening the balcony door usually did the trick, especially in the evenings when that sea air starts rolling in. Speaking of the balcony, that’s really where this place shines. I spent way more time out there than I expected, just watching the city come alive in the mornings and wind down at night. You can see the cable car going up to the hills, boats coming and going from the port, even the dancing fountains if you look in the right direction. It’s the kind of view that makes you want to wake up early just to watch the sunrise over the water, which says something coming from someone who usually considers 9 AM early. The 9.6 rating this place has makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s one of those spots that exceeds expectations without trying too hard to impress you.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.

  The view is espectacular. The apartment is well- equipped and very clean. The host was constantly in touch with me and reachable. The bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on.
  
  What could be improved: The fridge is so small that if you put any bottle inside (wine/milk) there is no free space for anything else, so I'd rather recommend the apt for short-term stays and for those people who usually eat out.
