I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Orbi Apartments Seaview on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment building in Batumi. But you know what? Sometimes the most unassuming places surprise you, and this three-star spot definitely falls into that category.

The thing about this place is that it’s perfectly positioned in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the beach – and I mean the good stretch of beach, not the overcrowded bits near the boulevard where you can barely find a spot to lay your towel. The apartments themselves are honestly more spacious than I expected, with proper kitchenettes that actually work (I made coffee every morning, and the little stovetop handled my late-night khachapuri reheating sessions just fine). The seaview rooms – well, you do need to crane your neck a bit and look past some other buildings, but on a clear day you can definitely catch glimpses of the Black Sea, especially from the higher floors.

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night. Batumi can be pretty intense with all the nightlife and street noise, but this particular stretch of Sherif Khimshiashvili is residential enough that you can actually sleep with your windows open. The staff speaks decent English, which isn’t always a given in this part of town, and they’re genuinely helpful – not just going through the motions. I had an issue with the Wi-Fi on my second day, and they had someone up to fix it within an hour. The building itself is clean and well-maintained, though the elevator is one of those tiny European ones where you’ll be making friends with your luggage real quick. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but honestly, you don’t really need a car here anyway – marshrutkas run regularly, and everything worth seeing is either walkable or a cheap taxi ride away. For what you’re paying, especially compared to some of the flashier hotels closer to the old town, you’re getting solid value and a legitimate local neighborhood experience without sacrificing comfort.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.

  Номер был светлый , чистый и особенно понравился вид. До этого читала отзывы, что долго ждать лифт, но я с такой проблемой не столкнулась, рядом есть магазины и кафе и самое главное до моря 5 минут ходьбы, я в восторге. Девушка, которая нас заселяла, очень милая и отзывчивая.

  What could be improved: The owner cancelled the reservation when I was already on the doorstep. Without warning. ORBI is a very large complex of private apartments, there are very big problems with elevators, you can wait about an hour for an elevator to a high floor. I recommend taking a lower floor to make it easier to get up and down the stairs. Maybe someone will like the large number of prostitutes in this complex, they shout invitingly both day and night.
  
  Не стоит удивляться, что вам придется с чемоданами на руках, а хуже с плачущими детьми, искать новое место размещения, так как здесь вам скажут что мест нет, без предварительного уведомления. Вам сообщат об этом по вотсаппу, когда вы будете стоять внизу, уставшие после перелёта. Мне в итоге удалось снять апартаменты в этом месте, но Орби это в целом ужас, огромные очереди в лифт, если есть выбор, снимайте этаж пониже, так как быстрее спуститься по лестнице чем ждать лифта, и это практически круглосуточно. Возможно для кого-то будет плюсом больше количество жриц любви, проживающих в этом комплексе, кричат они очень эффектно практически круглосуточно. Как я понимаю, объекты размещения в ОРБИ не очень беспокоят данные отзывы, так как они регулярно меняют название на Букинге и могут начать с чистого листа в любой момент, всем удачи.
