I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to ONYX apartment on Rustaveli street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another residential building in Batumi. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t scream for attention from the sidewalk. This three-star spot is tucked right into one of the city’s most walkable neighborhoods, and once you get up to that high floor (thank goodness for the elevator), the whole vibe changes.

The thing about staying on Rustaveli is that you’re actually living like a local – there’s a small grocery store practically next door where the owner remembers your face after day two, and honestly, that morning routine of grabbing fresh khachapuri from the corner bakery became one of my favorite parts of the day. The apartment itself has this no-nonsense Georgian hospitality thing going on. Nothing fancy, but everything works, and the view from up there gives you these glimpses of the Black Sea between the other buildings that somehow feel more authentic than those postcard-perfect beachfront shots. I mean, you’re seeing Batumi the way people who actually live here see it.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – Rustaveli has enough life during the day with people heading to work and kids playing in the courtyard below, but once evening hits, it settles into this peaceful residential rhythm. You’re close enough to walk to the old town in about fifteen minutes (I timed it), and the beach is maybe twenty if you don’t mind a little stroll. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that overly formal hotel lobby stuff, just practical people who know their neighborhood and aren’t trying to upsell you on anything. There’s something to be said for a place that lets you experience a city without constantly reminding you that you’re a tourist, and honestly, that’s exactly what this little spot on Rustaveli delivers.

  Шикарное расположение и виды из окна🤩.
  Наше пребывание в этих апартаментах было незабываемым опытом! С первого момента мы ощутили гостеприимство и теплоту. Апартаменты были просторными, современными и идеально чистыми. Идеальные матрасы. Вид из окна был потрясающий, закаты просто восторг.
  Отличное расположение апартаментов. С одной стороны набережная, а с другой парк 6 мая. Хозяйка очень внимательна и всегда готова помочь с любым вопросом. Все продуманно до мелочей.
  Есть бесплатная парковка, SPA, 2 ресторана.
  Мы обязательно вернемся сюда снова и рекомендуем эти апартаменты всем, кто хочет насладиться Батуми в полной мере!
