LIBERECO Aparthotel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about LIBERECO Aparthotel? The name honestly had me expecting something more boutique-y and small, but this place actually has some serious presence on Zurab Gorgiladze Street. I mean, it’s this sleek four-star setup that feels way more upscale than most aparthotels I’ve stayed at – and I’ve stayed at quite a few across Georgia over the years.
The location is honestly pretty smart if you know Batumi at all. Zurab Gorgiladze runs parallel to some of the main tourist strips, so you’re close enough to walk to the boulevard and the beach (maybe 10-15 minutes depending on your pace), but you’re not dealing with that constant stream of tour groups and street vendors right outside your window. The building itself has this modern, almost minimalist thing going on – clean lines, lots of glass, the kind of place that photographs well but actually functions even better. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to make it feel residential rather than hotel-sterile, which makes sense since these are proper apartments, not just rooms with a kitchenette thrown in the corner.
The apartments themselves are where LIBERECO really delivers on that 8.6 rating. Everything feels intentionally designed rather than just furnished – the kitchens have actual counter space (revolutionary concept, I know), the living areas don’t feel cramped, and honestly, the beds are probably better than what I have at home. The bathrooms have this rainfall shower situation that’s actually worth using, not just Instagram fodder. I stayed during shoulder season in early fall, and the place was quiet enough that I could work from the apartment during the day without any issues – something you definitely can’t say about most places closer to the main drag. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They pointed me toward this little khachapuri spot about three blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect local discoveries that make a trip memorable. Parking was straightforward (there’s a dedicated area), check-in was smooth, and they’ve got that sweet spot of being professional without being overly formal. If you’re planning to spend more than a couple nights in Batumi and want something that feels like a temporary home base rather than just a place to crash, LIBERECO hits all the right notes without any of the pretentiousness you sometimes get with upscale aparthotels.

Great for a group / family stay who wish to self cater part of the time.
Easy location for access to tourist areas, shops, restaurants.
What could be improved: The rooms located on the front side of the building can be a bit noisy due to the busy street (only an issue if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping).Exceptional – Kristóf from Hungary – August 20, 2025 (10/10)
