The sea view rooms – and I’d definitely recommend splurging for one – give you this gorgeous sweep of the Black Sea that’s especially stunning during sunset. There’s something about watching the fishing boats head out in the early morning while you’re having coffee on your balcony that just hits different.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to blend the apartment concept with proper hotel service. The units are spacious – I’m talking actual living areas where you can spread out, not those cramped European hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture. The kitchenettes are functional too, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in Batumi every meal can add up quickly. But here’s the thing that surprised me most: the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about where to find decent khachapuri that wasn’t tourist-priced, the front desk guy gave me specific directions to this little place two streets over that became my go-to spot. That kind of local knowledge isn’t something you get at every hotel, especially at this level. The building itself feels modern without being sterile – you know how some newer places can feel like you’re staying in an office building? This doesn’t have that problem. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which if you’ve driven in Batumi, you’ll appreciate. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because while everything works well and the service is solid, it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxurious. It’s more like… comfortable elegance, I guess? The kind of place where you can actually relax instead of feeling like you need to dress up to walk through the lobby.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Batumi at least two months ahead for major events like jazz festivals and beach celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular seaside attractions.
