The location on Baghi I Dead-end is one of those addresses that sounds a bit ominous until you realize it’s actually perfect. Dead-end means no through traffic, which translates to blessed quiet – something you’ll appreciate if you’ve stayed anywhere near Batumi’s main strips before. I was there in early summer, and while the boulevard hotels were dealing with the usual mix of late-night revelers and early morning construction, we were waking up to birds instead of car horns. The walk to the main action takes maybe fifteen minutes, but it’s actually a pleasant stroll through some of Batumi’s more residential areas where you get glimpses of how locals actually live.

What really sets this four-star place apart is the attention to small things that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The rooms have proper blackout curtains – and I mean proper ones, not those flimsy hotel curtains that let in every streetlight. The air conditioning actually works quietly, which is crucial during Batumi’s humid summers. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly formal rigmarole you sometimes get at places trying too hard to seem fancy. The staff clearly knows the area well; when I asked about getting to the cable car early to beat crowds, the front desk guy gave me the kind of specific timing advice you only get from someone who’s answered that question a hundred times. They’ve got a 9.3 rating, which honestly feels about right – it’s not trying to be the most luxurious place in town, but it nails the things that actually matter for a comfortable stay. The breakfast setup is more continental than elaborate, but the coffee is strong and the space gets good morning light. I actually found myself lingering there longer than usual, partly because the dining area looks out onto this little garden space that feels almost private. Parking is available, though you’ll want to mention you’re driving when you book – it’s not unlimited, and Batumi parking can be its own adventure if you’re winging it.
