You know what struck me first about Geverse Apartment? The location on 26 May Street is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re actually living in Batumi rather than just passing through. I mean, you’re close enough to walk to the seafront in about ten minutes, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t hear drunk groups stumbling back from the casinos at 3 AM.

This three-star place has that lived-in apartment vibe that actually works in its favor – the kind of spot where the furniture looks like someone’s grandmother picked it out with care, not some corporate hotel chain. The rooms are spacious enough that you can spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your suitcase, and honestly, the kitchenette setup is way more functional than I expected. I actually cooked a few meals there using ingredients from the little market around the corner (which, by the way, has the best khachapuri outside of the touristy restaurants). The Wi-Fi is solid – I had no trouble working from there during the day, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in Georgia during summer.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about the place rather than just going through the motions. The woman at check-in – I think her name was Nana – actually drew me a little map showing where to find the good wine shops and which marshrutkas to take to get to the cable car without getting totally lost. The building itself is one of those Soviet-era blocks that’s been updated enough to feel comfortable but still has character, you know? There’s something oddly charming about the old elevator and the way the hallways echo. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but there’s an authenticity here that you don’t get in the generic beachfront hotels. The whole area comes alive in the evenings when locals are out walking and the little cafes start filling up – it feels like you’re getting a glimpse of real Georgian life rather than the sanitized tourist version. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for the price point and that genuine neighborhood feel.

  Понравилось месторасположение и хорошие соседи… вид из окна тоже понравился если не учитывать стройку многоэтажки… которая в будущем этот вид изменит. Солнце бывает утром и в квартире комфортно, не жарко. Есть кондиционер но мы его даже не включали.
  
  What could be improved: Не понравилась стройка под окнами так как было шумно (строительные работы могли начинаться уже в 07:00 утра) …
  Матрас прожил долгую жизнь и спать на нем не удобно. Тумбу в ванной комнате жизнь потрепала еще сильнее. После приема душа приходилось вытирать пол так как душевая кабина протекает и душевой шланг тоже уже устал и не фиксируется.
  В целом, квартира хорошая и если убрать некоторые моменты можно было бы дать высокую оценку. Если арендовать эту квартиру на пару дней и вы не привередливый то подойдет. А если же на более длительное время то стоит подумать.

  Очень чистые и уютные апартаменты. Хозяйка без напряга и подвоха, как это иногда бывает с квартирами в Грузии. (Нас заставили отменить бронь 8 раз до этого). Очень удачное расположение в центре и новый дом, это важно.

  Комфортное расположение, до пляжа 10 минут пешком по прямой. Все популярные кафе в радиусе пешей доступности.
  
  Квартира в хорошем состоянии. Всё необходимое есть. Губки и тряпочки для посуды положили чистые перед нашим заездом.
  
  Приятное постельное бельё.
  
  What could be improved: Матрас сносный, но не самый удобный. Кое где выпирают пружины. И подушки уже требуют замены.
  
  Была сломан ящик на тумбе в ванной и в кухне. Но это вообще никак не мешает жить комфортно в данной квартире.

  Bardzo ładny, zadbany z wszelkimi udogodnieniami apartament – polecam. Wszędzie blisko, w okolicy dużo restauracji i barów. Z apartamentu rozlega się bardzo ładny widok na stare miasto.

  Отдыхали с детьми. Прекрасные условия для проживания, рядом с набережной, всё необходимое можно купить в шаговой доступности (аптеки, магазины, фруктовые лавки и т.д.) На случай непогоды есть прекрасная придворовая территория закрытого типа с мангалом, садовой мебелью и качелями для детей. Спасибо!

  Apartment is on the hihh floor in a new building with two elevators. Nice view on the city and mountains. Interiors looked exactly the same as on photos in the description. Host was very nice and allowed us to check in earlier.
