Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Cozy Apartment in the Center of Batumi, I rolled my eyes a little. I mean, how many “cozy” places have I stayed in that were basically cramped boxes with terrible lighting? But this three-star spot on Khimshiashvili Street actually lives up to its name, which honestly surprised me.

The location is what really sold me on this place. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Boulevard – you know, that gorgeous waterfront promenade where half of Batumi seems to congregate in the evenings. I’d wake up, grab coffee from that little place around the corner (the owner makes this incredible Georgian coffee that’ll wake the dead), and be at the beach before most tourists even figured out how to use their hotel key cards. The Magnolia building itself is pretty typical for this part of the city – nothing fancy, but solid and well-maintained. What I loved was how quiet it stayed despite being so central. The thick walls actually do their job, unlike some places I’ve crashed in where you can hear every conversation in the hallway.

The apartment itself feels… well, lived-in in the best way possible. The furniture isn’t Instagram-perfect, but everything works and there’s this authentic Georgian warmth to the whole setup. The kitchen actually has decent knives and pots that aren’t falling apart – trust me, as someone who likes to hit the local markets and cook, this matters more than you’d think. I spent a couple evenings making khachapuri with ingredients from the nearby bazaar, and it felt like I was actually living there rather than just passing through. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with water pressure that doesn’t make you want to cry (again, you’d be surprised how often this is an issue). My only real complaint? The Wi-Fi got a bit spotty during evening hours when everyone in the building was probably streaming something, but honestly, being in Batumi without perfect internet isn’t exactly a tragedy. You’re better off wandering the Old Town anyway, maybe catching one of those spontaneous street performances that seem to pop up near the Alphabet Tower. The whole experience just felt genuine – like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room where everything’s bolted down and covered in plastic.

  Большая квартира, удобная, на 2 семьи самое то. Отдыхали родители + сын с женой. У самого моря, центр в шаговой доступности. Чистая, Все есть.
  
  What could be improved: Прочитали про дом. Поинтересуйтесь про дом «Магнолия». Жалко жильцов. На площадке появился котик чистый стриженный, явно потерянный, постоянно просился в квартиру.

  Довольно просторная чистая квартира с двумя спальнями. Есть всё для комфортного проживания. В обеих спальнях есть кондиционеры. Холодильник, микроволновка, стиралка всё работает. Есть плитка и чайник.
  Море очень близко. Ненужно переходить дорогу, вышел, 5 минут и уже пляж. Мы ходили на море 2-3 раза в день.
  Через дорогу есть детская площадка. Удобно добираться на такси до дома. Не нужно долго объяснять, все знают где Магнолия 😃. Рядом есть супермаркет, очень красивый Макдональдс.
  
  What could be improved: Здание само ужасное снаружи и мы об этом знали, поэтому сильно не удивились. В подъезде тоже недострой, но лифт работает и в целом для нас это было не критично, так как самое главное для нас было, то что море было рядом. Много машин вокруг и в целом тесный город.

  Очень удобное место расположения, до моря просто рукой подать.
  Внутри было очень чисто и уютно.
  Довольно свежий ремонт.
  Просторные общая комната и спальни.
  Удобные диванчики в общей комнате.
  В каждой спальне находится кондиционер, очень выручало в жару.
  Наличие болкона так же было приятным бонусом.
  Чистая и просторная ванная комната.
  Наличие стиральной машинки.
  Была возможность готовить дома, но мы не стали с этим заморачиваться.
  Отдельно благодарность Марине за тепло и заботу во время визита.
  
  What could be improved: Само здание комплекса апартаментов снаружи выглядит довольно странно, или даже страшно. Но это абсолютно никак не сказалось на обстановке и атмосфере комфорта внутри. Нам действительно очень понравилось.

  The location is very good, very center of the city. Also beds were very comfortable, good quality mattrasses i guess.
  
  What could be improved: There was smell in the house that stayed for several days. I can not say apartment was not cleaned but it looked like it was not clean. Also not all the facilities were in good working order. Overally we were not feeling comfortable spending time in the apartment.
