Caspian VF Hotel Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Caspian VF Hotel on Giorgi Brtskinvale Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. It’s tucked into this quiet residential area that most tourists probably miss entirely, but that’s actually what ended up being one of its best features. You know how Batumi can get absolutely chaotic during summer months with all the casino crowds and beach madness? Well, this four-star spot feels like you’ve found this perfect little refuge just two blocks away from all that energy, but far enough that you can actually get some sleep.

The thing that really got me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the city – not just the tourist stuff everyone pushes, but like, actual local recommendations. The guy at the front desk told me about this incredible khachapuri place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned I was trying to avoid the main boulevard crowds, he sketched out this whole walking route that takes you through the old part of town most visitors never see. The rooms themselves are honestly better than I expected for the price point – clean lines, decent air conditioning (crucial in Batumi summers, trust me), and the beds are actually comfortable, which seems rare in this part of Georgia for some reason. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, though I did notice the shower pressure varies depending on what floor you’re on.

What really sealed the deal for me was the breakfast situation. I mean, it’s not going to win any awards, but they do this proper Georgian spread alongside the usual continental stuff, and the coffee – well, let’s just say it’s significantly better than what you’ll find at most places in this price range. The whole vibe is just… relaxed, I guess? Like, you’re not fighting for tables or dealing with massive tour groups taking over the lobby. The location on Giorgi Brtskinvale puts you maybe a seven-minute walk from the main action near the port, but it’s quiet enough that you can leave your windows open at night without being woken up by drunk casino-goers at 3 AM. Parking‘s actually available too, which is basically a miracle in central Batumi – though you might want to ask for specifics when you book because spaces fill up during peak season. If you’re looking for something that feels more like staying in a neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, but still want decent amenities and that solid 8.9 rating comfort level, this place hits the sweet spot.

Reviews of Caspian VF Hotel

  • A wonderful place to stay in Batumi! – Klára from Czech Republic – June 17, 2025 (10/10)

We were a group and were positively surprised by the equipment and clean spacious balconies in each room. The hotel was about 10-15 mins from the promenade. The staffs were very nice and breakfast plentiful. The highlight is the terrace with the view of the surrounding mountains.

What could be improved: The construction place around, but this is omnipresent in the city.

  • Exceptional – Osman from Turkey – February 26, 2025 (10/10)

The facility is in a central location, generally quiet, peaceful and within walking distance of the center. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and there is carpet on the floor. Although we stayed in winter, there was always hot water and the facility was warm, we never felt cold. I can recommend this place to everyone, it is a comfortable and affordable accommodation choice. One of the employees was Azerbaijani and we had the opportunity to chat, the employees are helpful.

What could be improved: I have not experienced any negative situations.

Rooms are clean, comfortable new and modern. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s also a great hotel for couples. From now on this will be the only hotel I stay at in Batumi
