I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Batumi Orbi Beach Tower on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building itself is this modern tower that sort of stands out against the mix of old Soviet-era blocks and newer developments in this part of Batumi. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming places surprise you the most.

This three-star spot actually punches above its weight in a lot of ways. The location is honestly pretty smart – you’re about a 10-minute walk to the main beach area where all the tourists congregate, but far enough away that you don’t deal with the constant buzz of street performers and vendors that can get old after a few days. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the Boulevard energy is fun, but sometimes you want to grab coffee in the morning without dodging selfie sticks. The rooms are clean and functional (the Wi-Fi actually works, which isn’t always a given in this price range), and while the decor won’t win any design awards, everything feels well-maintained. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during my July stay – Batumi summers can be pretty sticky.

What really sold me on the place was the staff’s local knowledge. The front desk guy – I think his name was Giorgi – gave me directions to this incredible khachapuri spot that’s basically hidden in a residential building about three blocks away. No tourist would ever find it, but it’s where the locals actually eat. That’s the kind of insider tip that makes a trip memorable. The elevator can be a bit slow during busy periods, and you’ll hear some street noise if you’re on the lower floors facing the main road, but honestly, that’s just Batumi – it’s a living, breathing city, not some sterile resort bubble. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in Georgian cities will appreciate. If you’re planning to visit during August or the New Year period, definitely book ahead because this place fills up with both international visitors and Georgians from Tbilisi looking for a beach getaway. The 8.3 rating it gets from guests makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

  Reasonable price, very close to the beach, not that crowded, super fast elevators where you don't spend extra time on waiting as at so many places in Batumi.   Manzarası çok güzel bir oda. Merkazla havaalani arasinda uygun konumda, oda icerisinde az da olsa kullanilacak esyalar mevcut. Konaklama boyunca tüm ihtiyaçlarımızı karşıladı.

  What could be improved: Немного напрягло общение с хозяином, в целом все относительно неплохо) Апартаменты соответствуют фото, относительно чисто, были небольшие проблемы с дверью и вода быстро остывает в бойлере. А так цена соответствует качеству. Спасибо)

  Очень быстро произошло заселение, Виктор отличный хозяин. Квартира чистая, все есть для комфортного проживания.

  Шикарный вид на море. Аппартаменты аккуратные и не ушатаны, что для конца сезона редкость. Всë работало. Есть тв, утюг, пылесос, чайник, индукционная панель, микроволноака, холодильник, стиралка и бойлер. Стол и 5 стульев (2 покрепче и посвежее + 3 постарше). 2 работающих кондиционера, удобная кровать, диван, раскладушка и шкафы. Полотенца, посуда, постельное бельë и шампуньки с химией и мочалками, так что можно своë и не возить 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Тут скорее, чего бы хотелось: большего напора воды, а то в душе напор пропадает, если кто-то включает воду или работает стиралка. Двери в шкафах либо стоят не по уровню, либо что-то с колëсиками – ездят тяжело и неуверено. Столик на балкон и самое оно – большой холодильник и чуть большая площадь поверхности кухни + обновить наборы посуды и вилок ложек до большего кол-ва. Но всë это больше пожелания. В целом всë очень позитивно.
