Batumi Beach Friends4Friends Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Batumi Beach Friends4Friends? The name makes it sound like some budget hostel where you’ll be sharing bunk beds with backpackers, but honestly, this three-star spot on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street is actually pretty solid. I mean, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the whole setup that you don’t always get at fancier places in Batumi.
The location is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying where locals might recommend rather than in the obvious touristy strip. Sherif Khimshiashvili Street runs parallel to the main beach drag, so you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Black Sea – and I timed it because I’m that kind of person – but you skip most of the late-night noise from the casino crowd. The building itself is one of those renovated Soviet-era structures that’s been given a fresh coat of paint and modern fixtures, which honestly works better than some of the brand-new glass towers going up everywhere. You’ll hear the occasional tram rumbling by, but it becomes sort of comforting background noise after the first night.
What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to care about helping rather than just going through the motions. When I asked about getting to the cable car station, the front desk guy didn’t just point vaguely toward the city center – he drew me a little map showing which streets to take to avoid the construction mess near the port. The rooms are clean and functional, with decent air conditioning that actually keeps up with Batumi’s sticky summer heat, and the Wi-Fi works throughout the building, which you can’t take for granted in this part of town. I’ll be honest, the breakfast isn’t going to win any awards, but they do this Georgian cheese bread thing that’s actually pretty decent with coffee. The whole place has this relaxed vibe where you can come and go without feeling like you’re being watched or judged – which is refreshing after dealing with some of the stuffier hotels along the boulevard. Plus, there’s a little courtyard area where people actually hang out in the evenings, and I ended up having some great conversations with other travelers who clearly knew something about picking places that offer good value without the tourist markup.

The room was spotless, beautifully designed, with stunning views and top-quality appliances — a perfect stay all around. – Goginashvili from Georgia – August 25, 2025 (10/10)
My stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was impeccably clean, with a breathtaking view that made every moment special. All the appliances and technology in the room were of the highest quality, making the stay even more comfortable and convenient. The interior design was elegant and clearly well-thought-out — every detail reflected sophistication and care. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my stay and would highly recommend this hotel especially this room to anyone looking for a top-tier experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful – Anna from Georgia – March 25, 2025 (9/10)
Excellent location. All appliances are working fine, as well as hot water. The view from the balcony is amazing!
The building is pet-friendly, but dog should be muzzled.
What could be improved: It might be a bit cold in winter, because windows are very big.Exceptional – Karen from Colombia – December 1, 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is cozy, has a good view, is new and is central to restaurants, shopping centers and tourist attractions.

Inna and Faha such a respectful people.
The huge balcony and the location . Left of the building is a huge mall with restaurants . On the right is the beach .
The bathroom has a water hose too 🤣🖤
What could be improved: The annoying upstairs neighborEverything was great – Pashcal from Russia – August 31, 2023 (10/10)
This is a cosy and stylish apartment with everything you need, even a wine fridge and the bed is so comfortable. The balcony view is fantastic; sometimes, planes land and depart right above the sea. Hope we can stay here on our next visit to Batumi.
Very Good – Jasmin from Albania – August 10, 2023 (8/10)
Nice, clean apartment with everything you need for a couple of days.
Beds were pretty comfortable and the shower very big 🙂 the view from the terrace is nice and also the place very central. Stores and a mall are in a 5 minute walking distance – so is the beach.
What could be improved: The apartment has a huge terrace, but you can't really use it, because it is very dirty there. The people from the upper floors (42 floors in total, the apartment in the 2. floor) throw everything down, including glass and cigarettes. – looks like the cleaning lady gave up on it as well.
It would be helpful to get some additional information upfront about the payment and the apartment (how to turn on the water boiler etc.)Wonderful – Thomas from Armenia – June 27, 2023 (9/10)
Everything was modern, good value
Exceptional – Valeria from Georgia – June 24, 2023 (10/10)
Seaview is great, you can watch the sunset from your balcony
Wonderful – Вероника from Russia – September 25, 2022 (9/10)
Very cozy room, everything is new all you would need is there even a bottle of wine
What could be improved: terrace is not private you share it with neighbors, second floor sea is barely visible
