I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name apartment with sea view on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty basic, right? But sometimes the most straightforward places surprise you, and this three-star spot actually delivers on what it promises without any fancy marketing nonsense.

The location is what really makes this place work. You’re literally two blocks from the beach in Batumi, and I mean the good part of the coastline where locals actually hang out, not just the touristy strip. From the upper floors – and yes, you definitely want to request one – you get these clean views of the Black Sea that honestly make you forget you’re staying somewhere pretty affordable. The building itself is nothing special from the outside (typical Georgian residential block), but inside it’s been fixed up nicely without going overboard. What I appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re close to the action. The street doesn’t get the crazy party crowd that some of the main drags do.

The apartments themselves are bigger than most hotel rooms you’ll find in Batumi for this price range. Mine had a little kitchenette that actually worked – I mean, the fridge kept things cold and the stovetop heated up properly, which isn’t always a given in vacation rentals. The bathroom was small but functional, with decent water pressure, though the hot water sometimes takes a minute to kick in during busy times. You know what impressed me most? The windows are good quality, so when you close them, the city noise really drops off. Check-in was smooth too – the host met me right on time and spoke enough English to explain everything I needed to know about the area. They even marked up a little map with the best khachapuri place nearby (which turned out to be spot-on advice). The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the money – it’s not luxury, but it’s honest and comfortable, with that sea view that makes your morning coffee taste better somehow.

  Чисто, красивый вид. Все удобства есть в квартире. Начиная от туалетной бумаги, заканчивая посудой. Квартира со старым ремонтом, но учитывая размер квартиры и цену то все соответствует. Матрас хороший в большой спальне, подушки по качеству 5 из 10и. Первая линия, крутой вид. На балконе немного шумно. Но это на любителя, если кто не любит высокий этаж. Отзывчивые ребята. В квартире вся техника работает и чистая кроме одного кондиционера в большой спальне, второй кондиционер работает исправно. Вайфай быстрый, хороший. Учитывая цену – идеальный вариант для такой локации.

  The apartment was located 30 minutes away from the railway station. It was very clean and cozy. Can comfortably accomodate 6-8 people. The apartment was also right next to the beach and grocery stores which made it convenient. Our stay was wonderful. The hostess was also kind and sweet.
