This three-star spot turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you stumbled onto something the guidebooks missed.

The whole place has this rustic wooden cottage vibe – I mean, “деревянный котеж” literally means wooden cottage in Russian, so they’re not trying to trick anyone here. What really got me was the city view they promise in the name, and honestly, they deliver on it. From certain rooms, you can actually see out over Batumi’s rooftops toward the sea, which is pretty sweet considering you’re not paying resort prices. The wood construction gives everything this warm, almost cabin-like feel that’s completely different from the glass and steel hotels dominating the main tourist strips. I actually found it kind of refreshing – there’s something about the creaky floors and wooden beams that makes the place feel more… I don’t know, authentic?

Now, being on a dead-end street means it’s genuinely quiet at night, which is either perfect or problematic depending on what you’re after. If you want to stumble back from the bars on Rustaveli Avenue, you’ll have a bit of a walk – maybe fifteen minutes if you’re moving at a decent pace. But if you’re like me and appreciate being able to sleep without hearing scooters revving at 2 AM, this location is actually genius. The neighborhood feels residential, almost local, and I saw more Georgian families than tourists wandering around. There’s a small grocery store about two blocks away that saved me a few times when I needed water or snacks. Parking isn’t really marked, but there’s usually space along the street – just don’t expect anything fancy. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that corporate hotel rigmarole, just real people who seemed to actually care whether you found everything okay. With an 8.9 rating, clearly other travelers are picking up on the same genuine hospitality that I noticed. Sure, it’s not going to have a spa or a rooftop pool, but sometimes you just want a comfortable bed, a decent shower, and a place that feels like someone’s home rather than a chain hotel cookie-cutter room.

  Очень уютный деревянный дом на горе. Из него открывается отличный вид на Батуми. Камин, приятный интерьер, удаленность от городского шума. Есть компактная кухня с набором посуды. В холодное время помещение отапливает электрический обогреватель.
  
  What could be improved: Путь к дому на гугл картах не точен, из-за этого мы сначала заехали не туда.
  В ванной стоит запах канализации.
