Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Apartment In Porta Batumi Tower, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place. But walking into this spot on Rustaveli Avenue completely changed my perspective on what you can get in Batumi without breaking the bank.

The thing that hits you immediately is the location – I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in the city center. You can walk to the Boulevard in maybe ten minutes, and there’s this fantastic little bakery just around the corner that locals actually go to (not just tourists). The Porta Tower itself has this modern feel that honestly surprised me – the elevator’s reliable, the hallways are clean, and you don’t get that musty hotel smell that sometimes comes with older buildings. What really sold me though was the apartment setup itself. It’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works. The kitchen actually has proper cookware if you want to grab some fresh khachapuri from the market and heat it up, and the living space gives you room to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to upload those sunset photos from the beach.

You know what I appreciated most? The noise levels are pretty reasonable, even though you’re right in the action. I stayed there during summer when Batumi gets absolutely packed with visitors, and while you can hear the city buzz during the day, it actually quiets down nicely at night. The air conditioning works well – and trust me, you’ll need it in July and August when the humidity hits. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (most people just walk or take marshrutkas anyway), but the building has some options. The whole check-in process was surprisingly smooth too – no standing around waiting for keys or dealing with confusing instructions. I think what makes this place work is that it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, comfortable apartment in a great spot that gives you the freedom to experience Batumi like you’re actually living there for a few days, not just passing through. For the price point, especially considering that 9.4 rating from other guests, it’s honestly one of the better values I’ve found in the city center.
