I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place, but this little apartment on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street completely changed my perspective on what good value looks like in Batumi. I mean, that 9.4 rating isn’t just some inflated number – it actually makes sense once you’re there.

The location is really something special, though you might not realize it at first glance. Sherif Khimshiashvili Street sounds intimidating if you’re not familiar with Georgian, but it’s actually this quiet residential area that’s maybe a 10-minute walk from all the touristy waterfront chaos. I loved being able to duck away from the crowds and casino noise when I needed to recharge. The apartment itself has this lived-in feel that’s way more comfortable than those sterile hotel rooms you usually get – there’s actually space to spread out your stuff, and the kitchen meant I could grab fresh khachapuri from the local bakery and have breakfast without paying hotel prices. The windows face away from the main road, so you’re not dealing with traffic noise at night, which honestly made such a difference for my sleep.

What really impressed me was how the host clearly knows what travelers actually need. There’s decent WiFi (I was working remotely part of the time), the hot water pressure is solid, and they’ve got these little touches like extra blankets and proper hangers that bigger hotels somehow always mess up. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Batumi – Soviet-era but well-maintained, with neighbors who are friendly without being intrusive. I ended up chatting with an elderly Georgian woman in the hallway who gave me the best restaurant recommendations I got during my whole trip. You’re close enough to walk to the Boulevard and the beach, but far enough that you feel like you’re staying where actual Batumians live, not in some tourist bubble. Honestly, for the price point and that location, I’d book it again in a heartbeat – it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you.

  Öncelikle tesisin konumu Orbi city D blok 26. Katta yer alıyor.
  
  *Tesis çok iyi konumda denize 100 metre mesafede Grand mall avm süpermarket Carrefour ve benzeri yerlere yakın. Özel araç ile gelmeyen kişiler sarpi sınır kapısı için en kolay ulaşım sınırda bulunan 88 numaralı minibüslerle 20 dakika içerisinde konuma yakın bir yerde iniyorsunuz ücret 2 lari. Batum merkeze gitmek için ise blacksea mall ( Carrefour önünden minibüslerle 15 dakika içerisinde varabilirsiniz) tesisin konumu batum merkezden çok daha iyi ve canlı. Plaja giriş için ücret ödenmiyor halka açık. Sadece şezlong ve şemsiye almak isterseniz adet fiyatı 10 lari.
  
  *Oda çok temizdi deniz manzaralı güzel bir balkona sahip saç kurutma makinesi, klima , ütü , çamaşır makinesi, mutfak malzemeleri ve ihtiyaç duyulan hemen hemen her şey mevcuttu. Ayrılmadan önce tüm çamaşırlarımızı temiz bir şekilde valize yerleştirdik bu anlamda çok iyi.
  
  *Booking üzerinden veya tesiste kredi kartı ile ödeme mümkün değil sadece nakit olarak Lari (GEL) şeklinde ödeme yapmalısınız. Sınır kapısında bulunan karşınıza çıkacak ilk exchange ofislerinden para bozmanızı tavsiye etmiyorum biraz ilerleyip durakların arkasında bulunan exchange ofislerinden çok daha iyi fiyata para bozabilirsiniz. Merkezde biraz daha iyi olabiliyor eğer üzerinizde yeterli miktarda minibüs parası var ise fazla bozmak istediğiniz miktarı merkezde de bozabilirsiniz 🙂
  
  *Tesise vardığınız zamanda lobide herhangi bir işlem yapmayacaksınız. Daire sahibiyle whatsapp üzerinden direkt olarak iletişime geçebilirsiniz. Tesise gelip odamızı gösterdi tanıttı ve her konuda yardımcı oldu. Geç giriş vs. Daire sahibi İngilizce pek bilmiyor whatsapp konuşmalarında translate kullandık.
