You know what caught me off guard about Apart voyage? Walking up to this unassuming building on Tupik Baratashvili street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment block in Batumi. But stepping inside completely changed my perspective on what a three-star place can actually deliver.

The thing about this area – and I mean this in the best way – is that you’re living like a local rather than being stuck in some touristy bubble. Tupik Baratashvili isn’t where the cruise ship crowds end up, which actually works in your favor. You’ve got real Georgian life happening around you, with neighborhood shops and cafes that don’t inflate their prices just because you’re speaking English. I’d walk about fifteen minutes to reach the main boulevard and beach, but honestly, that little stroll through residential Batumi became one of my favorite parts of the day. You pass by balconies with laundry hanging out, old men playing backgammon in courtyards, the whole authentic experience you can’t get when you’re staying right in the hotel district.

What really impressed me about Apart voyage was how they’ve managed to create this homey atmosphere while still keeping everything properly maintained and clean. The apartments – because that’s really what they are – feel like staying at a well-organized friend’s place rather than a sterile hotel room. You get a proper kitchen setup, which is honestly a game-changer when you want to grab fresh khachapuri from the local bakery and eat it with good Georgian wine without paying restaurant markup. The wifi actually works reliably (I was working remotely part of the time), and the hot water pressure is solid – two things that can make or break a longer stay. I will say the building itself is pretty quiet, even though you’re in a residential area, though you might hear some street life in the mornings when people are heading to work. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no lengthy procedures or pushy upselling, just helpful directions about the neighborhood and genuine recommendations for places to eat that weren’t obvious tourist traps.

Early hotels booking in Batumi requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary beaches, modern casinos, and Georgian cultural attractions.

  The room was really nice and big with a great balcony, Madonna was a great host and you could just message her through Whatsapp. There wasn't a wine opener in our room but she brought one over when I asked if she had one. The bed was very comfy and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Kitchen worked well too
  
  What could be improved: The walls were a little thin, you could hear your neighbours and the noise from the street but that wasn't a big deal.

  It's a nice cozy small hotel. The owner Madonna and the hostess lady are wonderful persons. It's my pleasure to meet them. Location is in the very center of Batumi. Very convenient to any destinations across the city. Highly recommend. I hope we will return soon. Didi madloba Madonna and everyone!
