Walking up to this three-star place on Sherif Khimshiashvili Street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – but man, does this place punch above its weight. I mean, Batumi has so many cookie-cutter hotels these days, but there’s something different about Alliance Palace that you notice right away. The building itself has this sort of understated elegance, nothing flashy, but solid and welcoming in a way that makes you think they actually care about getting the details right.

The aparthotel setup is brilliant, actually – you get proper kitchenettes in the rooms, which is a game-changer if you’re staying more than a couple nights or traveling with kids. I spent a good chunk of time wandering around that neighborhood, and let me tell you, being on Sherif Khimshiashvili puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the main tourist areas but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of crowds. There’s this local bakery about two blocks down that the staff recommended – honestly, some of the best khachapuri I had during my entire Georgia trip. The rooms themselves feel more spacious than typical hotel rooms, probably because they’re designed for longer stays, and the balconies (well, most of them have balconies) give you decent views of the city spreading out toward the Black Sea.

What really impressed me was how the staff seemed to know their stuff about the area. Check-in was smooth, no drama, but more importantly they gave me actual useful tips about getting around Batumi – not just the standard tourist brochure stuff. The 8.8 rating this place has makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not luxury, and they’re not pretending to be, but everything works the way it should, the internet is solid, and you get this feeling that they’ve thought through what travelers actually need. Parking can be a bit tight during summer months (heads up if you’re driving), and the elevator is one of those old-school European ones that takes its sweet time, but honestly? These are tiny complaints. For the price point and the location, Alliance Palace delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you’re looking for a place in Batumi where you can settle in comfortably and explore the city at your own pace, this is definitely worth considering.

  Все отлично, Без проблем связались с хозяином, он нас встретил, выезд разрешил попозже, т.к. не было заезда. Рассказал, где лучше и недорого перекусить. Есть все необходимое! Белье белоснежное, местоположение отличное, рядом море, все магазинчики, автобусные остановки. Из аэропорта прямой автобус, не надо тратиться на такси, стоимость билета 0,3 лари. Рекомендуем как для длительных так и краткосрочных проживаний

  Симпатичные апартаменты со всем необходимым и потрясающим видом. Хозяйка приехала нас заселить в 2 часа ночи (из-за задержки рейса). Отличная звукоизоляция, рядом есть магазины. До старого города, правда, пешком идти 15-20 минут, но мы к этому были готовы)

  It is fairly clean and in good location.
  
  What could be improved: 1. There is an extra service fee. I had never seen this in other bookings. The total price that booking is showing to you is NOT the total price. I paid 44$ extra.
  2. The mattress is cheap, it is moving a lot and hard to sleep for a couple.
  3. The bed sheet was small and I was not able to tuck it under the bed. Asked Ms. Garina , got no help.
  4. I asked for 2 extra pillows. They had none. I asked them for at least extra pillow cases since we were staying for 8 nights and we need to change them. No response at all!
  5. Much better facilities are provided in Orbi tower rooms for a cheaper price. This property is more expensive and the owner treated us poorly.

  Достаточно комфортные, чистые апартаменты, с прекрасным расположением и видом на город и море., наличием рядом кафе, магазинов, пляжа и платной крытой парковки. Не смотря на оживленную дорогу под окнами и наличие громких заведений рядом, вопрос с шумом решался просто закрытием двери на балкон, прекрасная шумоизоляция. Тихо, исправно работающий кондиционер. В разгар сезона в комплексе достаточно большое количество посетителей, однако несмотря на это проблем с вызовом лифта или решением каких-либо вопросов на ресепшен не возникало. Круглосуточно прекрасный вид из окна). При заселении были проблемы с отсутствием электричества в апартаментах, но общими усилиями Карины и ресепшен, вопрос решился в течении нескольких часов.
  
  What could be improved: Из минусов только, к сожалению, невозможность оплатить апартаменты картой. Предоставляемая ссылка не работает для не санкционной visa, что предоставило некоторые неудобства и расстройства.

  What could be improved: They have to inform you that they accept cash only. Otherwise, the owner will give u a link to use ur card.
  
  They will never provide u even with a complimentary bottle of water. So make sure to have water with u when u come.
  
  There was only a small bottle of shampoo and a small soap for four nights.
